How close are ESNC fragrances to the original?

Our fragrances are created to closely reflect the scent profile and overall experience of the fragrances they are inspired by.

However, fragrance is personal and no two people will experience a scent in exactly the same way. Skin type, body chemistry, scent sensitivity and even the environment can influence how a fragrance smells and performs.

Our fragrances are also produced using strong oil concentrations, so some customers may find certain scents richer, stronger or more noticeable than expected. A small number of users may also experience fragrance sensitivity, particularly with stronger formulations.

What are acceptable payment types?

We accept all available payment types.

What are inspired by perfumes?

These are our own formulation of perfumes, inspired by famous brands. They are not identical but our own take on the scent, with changes in ingredients and scents. Using quality essences, with affordable bottles and packaging, we are able to provide our scents at a fraction of the cost.

Are your perfumes safe to wear?

It is very difficult to predict allergic reactions in individuals to specific oils/ingredients or ingredient combination. If you have any allergies, to make sure it is safe try small amounts on an area of skin. If any allergic reactions are developed, cease use of perfumes.

What oil concentration are your fragrances?

Our 50ml Selective Series fragrances are Eau de Parfum formulations containing approximately 15% to 20% fragrance oil.

As a general guide, they provide approximately 6 to 8 hours of longevity.

Our 100ml Niche Collection fragrances are Extrait de Parfum formulations containing approximately 30% fragrance oil.

As a general guide, they provide approximately 8 to 12 hours of longevity.

How long do ESNC fragrances last?

Our Selective Series Eau de Parfum fragrances generally last between 6 and 8 hours.

Our Niche Collection Extrait de Parfum fragrances generally last between 8 and 12 hours.

These timeframes are a guide only. Longevity can vary depending on:

Skin type and hydration
Body chemistry and skin pH
Weather and temperature
Where the fragrance is applied
Clothing and fabric
The fragrance family
Individual scent sensitivity

Wearing fragrances that suit the season can also make a noticeable difference. Fresh citrus and aquatic fragrances often perform best in warmer weather, while deeper vanilla, amber, oud and woody fragrances usually perform strongly in cooler conditions.

Do you have physical store locations?

Yes. ESNC currently has 18 retail locations, including 13 locations across Melbourne and five across Sydney.

Our retail network includes both kiosk and full-store locations, giving customers the opportunity to explore and test our fragrances in person.

For customers who do not have an ESNC location nearby, we also offer sample packs online. This allows you to test a selection of fragrances before committing to a full-size bottle.

Are ESNC fragrances Eau de Toilette, Eau de Parfum or Extrait de Parfum?

Our 50ml Selective Series is formulated as Eau de Parfum, with approximately 15% to 20% fragrance oil.

Our 100ml Niche Collection is formulated as Extrait de Parfum, with approximately 30% fragrance oil.

This means both ranges contain a higher fragrance concentration than a typical Eau de Toilette.

Why does a fragrance smell different on me?

A fragrance can smell different from one person to another because it interacts with each person’s unique skin chemistry.

Factors such as skin type, pH levels, hydration, hormones, body temperature, diet and environment can all influence how the fragrance develops.

This is why we recommend testing a fragrance on your own skin rather than relying only on how it smells on a tester card or another person.

Why can I no longer smell my fragrance?

This can happen because of nose blindness, also known as olfactory fatigue.

When you are exposed to the same fragrance for an extended period, your brain may temporarily stop registering it as strongly, even though other people can still smell it.

This does not necessarily mean the fragrance has disappeared. Taking a break from the scent or rotating between different fragrances can help reduce nose blindness.

Should I spray fragrance on my skin or clothing?

Both options can work.

Fragrance develops more naturally on the skin because it reacts with body heat and skin chemistry. Clothing may hold the fragrance for longer, particularly on heavier fabrics.

For the best overall result, apply to pulse points and add a light spray to clothing. Always test delicate or light-coloured fabrics first.
